WHEREAS, the Town of Cheektowaga is the owner of vacant land located on the east side of Pinehurst Avenue (S.B.L. No. 91.19-3-40) adjacent to 75 Pinehurst Avenue and 89 Pinehurst Avenue, and
WHEREAS, said property is surplus to the needs of the Town, and
WHEREAS, Curtis F. Millet and Laree Millet have submitted an offer to purchase this property for $12,000.00, subject to certain contingencies, and
WHEREAS, this Board feels that this offer is acceptable to the Town, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that this Town Board hereby approves the sale of the vacant lot on the east side of Pinehurst Avenue by the Town of Cheektowaga to Curtis F. Millet and Laree Millet for $12,000.00, and BE IF FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized and directed to execute the Purchase and Sales Agreement, a deed and other documents necessary to effectuate the sale of this property to Curtis F. Millet and Laree Millet, subject to the approval of the Town Attorney, and BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the sale of the above referenced vacant land on the east side of Pinehurst Avenue is subject to permissive referendum under the Town Law of the State of New York, and BE IT FURTHER
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk be and hereby is directed to file the attached Notice of adoption of Resolution Subject to Permissive Referendum in the CHEEKTOWAGA BEE, the Town’s official newspaper.
NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Cheektowaga, on September 25, 2018, adopted a resolution authorizing the Town of Cheektowaga to sell property located on the east side of Pinehurst Avenue (S.B.L. No. 91.19-3-40) adjacent to 75 Pinehurst Avenue and 89 Pinehurst Avenue, Cheektowaga, New York (having dimensions of 90f x 120d x 0ac) to Curtis F. Millet and Laree Millet for $12,000.00.
A copy of such resolution and proposed deed are on file in the Town Clerk’s Office where the same may be viewed during regular business hours.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that such resolution is subject to permissive referendum under Article 7 of the Town Law of the State of New York.
